Jeffrey helps BAFO clients with proposal management, technical writing, compliance, graphics, and training document support within the government contracting industry. He serves as a Team Lead for BAFO's organization. Jeffrey is a graduate of Old Dominion University with a major in English / Creative Writing and has an extensive background in technical writing. He has logged countless hours writing for a diverse client list, ranging from Discovery television networks in the private sector to Health and Human Services (HHS) in the federal government sphere. He specializes in detail-oriented documentation drafting and review and brings a diverse skill set to the BAFO Services team. He is a highly motivated, client-focused professional who always seeks to deliver the highest level of customer service to each task placed in his lane. Outside of the office, Jeffrey writes screenplays of the comedic variety and works out. He also enjoys spending time with his kids, girlfriend, family, and cats.

Brian helps BAFO clients with business development and proposal management within the government contracting industry. Brian has been in the GovCon space for over 15 years where he has contributed his expertise to large corporations such as Booz Allen Hamilton and Computer Sciences Corporation, as well as medium and small-sized enterprises. During this time Brian managed programs, performed capture efforts, and submitted proposals for the Navy, Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, Department of Homeland Security, FEMA, IRS, and others. He also has experience utilizing multiple contracting vehicles including Seaport-NxG, RS3, VETS2, OASIS, GSA, and others. Brian has taken on various responsibilities in operations, business development, and management, holding key positions like COO, VP, and Director. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Christopher Newport University and earned his MBA from The College of William and Mary. He has been happily married and he also enjoys making homemade cooking shows and gardening.

Ashely helps BAFO clients with proposal management, compliance, and contract legal documents (NDAs, teaming agreements, subcontract agreements) within the government contracting industry. Ashley comes from a diverse career background with over 11 years of experience in government contract management, real estate and the mortgage banking industry. She has developed a wide range of skills, including compliance review, critical and analytical thinking, verbal and written communication, financial analysis, and independent research. Ashley has a Post Baccalaureate Paralegal Certificate from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, also from Old Dominion University. She has worked with various organizations to coordinate proposal schedules, manage proposal progress, review and proofread content, and negotiate and revise Subcontract, Teaming, and Non-Disclosure agreements. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, doing yoga, and studying metaphysical concepts such as the fundamental nature of reality and the mysteries of human consciousness and the mind.

Brittany is a Philadelphia native, and an avid Eagles fan, who moved from the big city to the small town life in New Bern, NC. She is a versatile professional with a background in successfully executing diverse project tasks to meet deadlines. She has experience in the DoD and government contracting space, serving as a facility security officer, Healthcare industry as a certified Hearing Technician/fitter and also as a medical coder. She has managed and transitioned multiple large contracts with little to no effect on quality of service. She has supported recruited and oversaw personnel to achieve performance and quality targets. She obtained an Associates of Arts Degree from Craven Community College. When she’s not chasing her one year old daughter around, she enjoys exploring new places and trying local pizza places with her fiancé. She also likes planning trips to Disney World and has run a few Disney races from 5ks to half marathons. She is very excited to grow and support the BAFO team!

She is a graduate of Utah State University, with a degree in Applied Science. She has a work background excelling in customer relations and transaction processing. She has worked with, and over, many teams to ensure that individuals can come together to achieve a common goal. She also has experience working in the medical field. Through her variety of experience, she has gained a great ability to work with many different kinds of people in many different situations. She is a very motivated, driven individual that is always looking to learn more skills and gain more knowledge everywhere she can. Erin enjoys spending any free time that she has doing anything with her family. They enjoy sports, board games, finding the best places to eat, and anything that makes them laugh together. Erin also enjoys reading, traveling, and watching baseball - especially the Atlanta Braves.

Kat comes from a diverse proposal management career background with over 9 years of experience in Federal Capture and proposal management activities. Kat is experiences in all facets of proposal management from overall planning of proposal requirements, coordination of teammates and partner inputs for proposal efforts, Creating compliance matrices; developing detailed proposal plans, schedules, and outlines/templates to control proposal development. Kat comes from a military and healthcare background experience with DOD, DHA, CMS, HRSA, ED, FEMA, and VA. Kat is a Veteran of the United States Coast Guard and a graduate of University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration and Informatics. Kat is very passionate about community service and serves as a certified EMT on the local EMS Squad. When not volunteering she can be found working on her farm, riding horses, or traveling around to national parks.

Megan graduated from UMASS Boston with a B.A. in Criminal Justice and Sociology. Currently, she is pursuing a Master of Public Administration, allowing her to strengthen her skills through practice, effective proposal writing, follow-up, and evaluative work, focusing on locating opportunities through research. Megan understands how to develop a realistic budget and evaluation of outcomes and impacts as a means to sustain programs. Her background includes extensive work with government agencies, non-profit organizations, and small businesses, with over seven years of experience in Business Operations and Development. In addition, Megan has marketing experience, including creating custom graphics for proposals and presentations. She is a highly effective professional who can turn general ideas and concepts into well-constructed, polished responses.

Wally is joining our team and brings years of experience as a proposal writer, director of operations, and government opportunity researcher. He has worked closely with teaming partners to prepare and submit winning bids. He was born and raised in Michigan, has always been a proud and dedicated fan of the Detroit Lions and Red Wings. He is a United States Marine Corps Gunnery Sergeant retiree. Following his military career, Wally began working at a local community college, where he spent 13 years rising through the ranks to become an Extended Campus Dean. His passion for education and leadership played a key role in his success during this time. He holds a Master of Pastoral Theology and a Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics. Married to the love of his life since 1992, Wally is a proud father of two grown daughters, both married, and a doting grandfather to eight grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoys writing, spending time with family and friends, and playing guitar—though he humbly admits he's still a work in progress on that front!

A graduate of Winthrop University with a major in Art and a Minor in Art History, Sharon's background spans diverse roles as a multi-hyphenate artist, educator, entrepreneur, and administrative facilitator. She has over 20 years of experience in administrative operations across various industries. Her skills include strategic planning, schedule coordination, event planning, curriculum development, and executive support, enabling her to deliver efficient administrative solutions. Known for her versatility and attention to detail, Sharon excels in effective communication and creative problem-solving. She is fluent in both English and Spanish and is dedicated to continuous personal and professional development. Her passion for community building and fostering meaningful connections makes her a valuable asset in any setting. Outside of her professional endeavors, Sharon has a rich history of volunteer work and enjoys creating art, traveling, social dancing, a good cup of coffee and spending time with her family.

Ellie recently separated from the U.S. Navy, and as a military “intern” with BAFO Services during her transition to learn about government contracting and proposal support. Now that she is out of the Navy, she supports BAFO’s clients with their proposal needs. She has spent her last 4 years as an Intelligence/Signals Analyst. In addition to analytical expertise obtained through her time in the military, she has gained a plethora of administrative and communication skills as she worked in support of the National Security Agency. In her free time, Ellie enjoys volunteering within the local community, taking classes, and spending time with her animals and family.

Anthony has more than 12 years of professional proposal experience. He has worked with several Federal agencies including the DoD, DOE, and HHS (with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services). Before his proposal experience, he spent a great part of his career in journalism and daily news (print) media. Anthony has a Master of Science in marketing communication management, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in communication/journalism. In his spare time, Anthony likes to listen to music, work out, and spend time with his family.

Geoff assists BAFO clients with federal responses (RFPs, RFIs, SSNs) in capturing, shaping, and synthesizing complex information to reflect a cohesive message, written in one voice. Geoff holds a Master of Fine Arts, Creative Writing (Nonfiction) and holds an APMP, Bid and Proposal Management Foundation Certificate. He has over 15 years of experience with helping companies win government contracts. He has extensive experience creating and updating proposal artifacts, including resumes, past performance write-ups, and white papers. He also helps organizations develop master content repositories by writing standard federal response sections such as risk management, project/program management, quality, and staffing. Geoff has also supported small businesses, including emerging and established 8(a) and SDB enterprises. He is experienced in conducting interviews with SMEs to translate technical information and business jargon into clear, consistent, and grammatically correct content. Geoff’s multifaceted writing, editing, and research experience stems from his career as a technical writer, proposal writer, creative writer, and college writing professor. Residing in California, Geoff enjoys hiking in the mountains east of San Diego and is excited for the NHL playoffs.

His unique perspective as a U.S. Army Reserve Engineer Officer and marketing specialist at geospatial software companies enhances his ability to assist system and technology integrators. Fred excels in technical and proposal writing, writing customer success stories, technical and persuasive white papers, marketing materials, niche-specific web pages, and technology-related articles for national magazines. He has also created course content for geospatial and remote sensing courses and authored software user manuals for classified systems. Fred holds a bachelor’s degree in geography with a minor in mathematics and a graduate certificate in education. Away from her desk, Lauren enjoys spending time with husband and twin daughters and hot yoga.

She has developed hundreds of security policies and procedures during my tenure, and helped achieve 100% compliance in multiple audits. She also has a background in digital accessibility compliance, business proposals, and technical proposals.

Outside of work, she is a wife of almost 20 years and a mom to a teenager, a furbaby mom to dogs, cats, birds and a chinchilla. She enjoys hiking, camping, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends, which helps me stay grounded and inspired.

Over a decade of his experience was spent working as an engineer and technical writer for the United States (US) federal government, supporting the Department of Defense (DOD), Department of the Treasury (USDT), and Intelligence Community (IC) on critical technology initiatives through his expertise in technical and proposal writing. His experience spans various domains, from information technology (IT) and cloud architecture solutions to artificial intelligence (AI)-powered applications. Margo’s professional background in technical and proposal writing comes from her long tenure at the Federal Aviation Administration where she supported both the IT and Aviation side of the agency. She has over 10 years of experience leading the development of compliant, compelling, and customer-focused responses to complex Federal Government solicitations. Margo has a proven track record of delivering high-quality proposal volumes under tight deadlines while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. She enjoys spending her free time traveling and golfing with her husband and daughter, as well as spoiling their beloved family pets. Attending OKC Thunder basketball games and OU football games are also some favorite activities, along with trying new, local eateries.

Emily has a Master of Arts in Writing, Rhetoric and Technical Communication from James Madison University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Policy and Administration, also from James Madison University. She has worked with various organizations to coordinate proposal schedules, manage proposal progress, review and proofread content, as well as design and act as a SharePoint Administrator. She is on the Board of Directors for a local nonprofit that raises funds for hearing and speech impaired individuals. In her spare time, she enjoys reading crime thrillers, working out at the gym, and spending sunny days at the beach with her family.
